Milestone!

Hello to all my readers! I hope this week is treating you well.

Today is my birthday. I have made 32 rotations around this planet we call Earth. Even though I will still continue to tell people I am 29 years old.

Today also marks a milestone. The first book in what I hope to call The Chronicles of Lothlyn is past the 25,000 word mark. I realized that I am about a third of the way finished with book one. Still, I am trying to see where this story is going… the bigger picture. But book one is coming along smoothly. It is nice to get back to my fantasy roots.

For my birthday, I am taking time to write. I am nine chapters in and getting ready to finish Act One of a three act story. I see the outcome, but still, I have to journey toward it.

I am also working on my sequel to Summer Heat. Unfortunately, the story is marinating for the moment. I have the basic outline completed and know exactly where the story is going. I just have to sit down and write. Knowing there are readers out there that wish to know a continuation of the story makes me happy.
